Food for Africa/Numana was a great success!

Here are some statistics from the week-end:
How much food was packaged? 263,896
How many volunteer “Packers” were there? 2024
How many Green Shirt Volunteer Leaders were there? 275
Total volunteers including our Hospitality volunteers: 2309
When will the food ship? Two full containers will be shipped to Kenya on May 18th. Pray that the appropriate exemptions will be granted by the Kenyan government in a timely manner.

City wide participation: 3 other churches in Wichita participated: Riverlawn, Central Christian and Countryside Church
Between all the churches, over half a million meals will be shipped to Nairobi, Kenya to our Mission of Hope missionaries: Wallace and Mary Kamau.
